Q: How can I make a booking for LEGOLAND California Resort Hotel?

Q: Where is the LEGOLAND Hotel located?
A: LEGOLAND Hotel is located just outside the front gate of LEGOLAND California. The hotel address is 5885 The Crossings Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008. Visit our Contact Us page for turn-by-turn directions.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
Reservations must be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival in order to receive a full refund of initial deposit.

Q: What is the difference between a Premium and Themed room?

Q: Is breakfast included in all room rates?
A: Breakfast is not included in room rates; however, packages are available to include breakfast. Otherwise, breakfast may be purchased separately at Bricks Family Restaurant, Minis Lounge or through Room Service.

Q: What is the deposit and payment policy?
A: First night room and tax is due at time of booking, and the remaining balance is due seven (7) days prior to arrival.

Q: How many different themed rooms are there?
A: There are three (3) themes – Pirate, Kingdom and Adventure

Q: Does the Hotel offer accessible rooms?
A: The Hotel offers 11 accessible rooms –2 Standard, 1 Patio, 2 Suites and 6 Premium Themed.

Q: How many people does each room sleep?
A: Standard and Premium Themed rooms can accommodate up to five (5) occupants. Each room includes one (1) queen size bed and one (1) bunk bed, which includes a trundle bed.
Junior and Family suites can accommodate up to seven (7) occupants. Each suite includes one (1) queen size bed, one (1) bunk bed, and a one (1) pull out couch.

Q: Does the Hotel provide rollaway beds or cribs?
A: Rollaway beds and cribs are not available; however, Pack ‘N Plays are available on a first come, first serve basis. This item may be requested at time of booking or at check-in.

Q: Are there bathtubs in the bathrooms?
A: Yes

Q: Are pets allowed in the Hotel?
A: Pets are not allowed in the Hotel; however, our Concierge can suggest local pet accommodations. Only service animals with credentials are permitted in the Hotel.

Q: What amenities are available for children?
A: Interactive LEGO features throughout the Hotel, play areas, heated swimming pool, themed rooms, themed elevators, movies On-Demand, separate bunk-bed sleeping area with own TV and buffet restaurant with organized LEGO chaos.

Q: What amenities are available for adults?
A: Wi-Fi internet access, heated swimming pool, fitness center, buffet restaurant, Skyline Café, pool bar and lounge area. Nearby shopping & activities include: Carlsbad Premium outlets, The Forum at Carlsbad, Westfield Plaza Camino Real Shopping Mall, The Crossings at Carlsbad (public golf course) and nearby beaches.

Q: How many restaurants will the Hotel offer? And what times will they be open?
A: The Hotel will offer three (3) food and beverage outlets: two (2) restaurants and one (1) lounge.
• Brick’s Restaurant 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Minis Lounge 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Skyline Café 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Room Service 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Q: Will you need to make reservations at these restaurants?
A: Reservations are not required.

Q: How much does the buffet at Bricks Restaurant cost?
A: Breakfast for adults is $16.95 and $8.50 for children (12 and under). Dinner for adults is $19.95 and $10.00 for children. Children 3 and under eat for free.

Q: Will the Hotel’s restaurants accommodate children who are fussy eaters?
A: Bricks Restaurant will offer a large variety buffet selection of healthy and traditional choices. A-la-carte dining options will be available Skyline Café and Mini’s Lounge.

Q: Are children allowed in the lounge areas?
A: Yes. Parental supervision is required.

Q: Does LEGOLAND California Resort Hotel have a star rating?
A: Not at this moment, but will apply for a Diamond rating.

Q: Will there be storage space available to store luggage before/after the check-in /check-out time?
A: Yes, luggage storage is available.

Q: What are the additional fees and taxes?
A: A daily Resort Fee of $20 plus applicable tax. Carlsbad Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) Occupancy Tax 10%, Carlsbad Tourism and Business Improvement District (CTBID) Assessment Fee $1.50 per night.

Q: What does the Resort Fee include?
A: Parking, Wi-Fi, all in-room refreshments, pool towels, in-room LEGO gifts, access to fitness center and nightly children’s entertainment.

Q: Will there be valet parking?
A: Valet parking service is available for Hotel guests at no additional charge.

Q: What is the check-in and check-out time?
A: Check-in 4:00 p.m., check-out 11:00 a.m., late departures will be subject to a late fee.

Q: Will there be an iron and ironing board in my room?
A: No, but they will be available upon request. 

Q: Will there be laundry service for guests?
A: Dry cleaning and laundry service will be available to Hotel guests. Items will be sent-out to a local laundry service provider.

Q: What are the pool hours?
A: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. during peak season. Hours will change based on the season. Lifeguard coverage varies. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Q: What time does the nightly entertainment start?
A: Times vary and are subject to specific entertainment programs and season. Guests will be provided with an entertainment schedule at check-in.

Q: Can you view the ocean from the Hotel? 
A: Some 2nd and 3rd floor rooms facing west have ocean views.

Q: What is the theme of the LEGO gifts inside the rooms?
A: All prizes are intended to be a surprise. There is no particular theme.

Q: Are balloons allowed at the Hotel?
A: Due to our proximity to the airport, we cannot allow balloons on the Resort property.

Q: How far is the Hotel from the beach?
A: The closest beach is the South Carlsbad State beach, which is 1.5 miles from the Hotel.

Q: Is airport transportation available?
A: Yes, either by taxi or Super Shuttle 800-974-8885 or North Coast Limousine 760-639-2820.

Q: What are the driving directions to the Hotel?
A: LEGOLAND Hotel is located inside LEGOLAND California Resort, just off Interstate 5, in the seaside village of Carlsbad. The Resort is located just 1 hour south of Anaheim and 30 minutes north of San Diego.

From San Diego North County:
Take Interstate 5 South to Cannon Road East, turn right at LEGOLAND Drive and follow signs to LEGOLAND.

From San Diego North County Inland:
Take 15 North or South to 78 West to Interstate 5 South, then take Cannon Road East, turn right at LEGOLAND Drive and follow signs to LEGOLAND.

From Coastal San Diego Area:
Take Interstate 5 North to Cannon Road East, turn right at LEGOLAND Drive and follow signs to LEGOLAND.

From San Diego East County:
Take 8 West to Interstate 5 North to Cannon Road East, turn right at LEGOLAND Drive, then follow signs to LEGOLAND.

From Los Angeles and Orange County:
Take the 405 South / Interstate 5 South to Cannon Road East, turn right at LEGOLAND Drive, then follow signs to LEGOLAND.

Q: Is there special pricing available for groups:
A: Group pricing may be available for groups of 10 or more rooms. For more information, please submit a request at www.LEGOLAND.com/specialevents.

Q: Why book my group at the LEGOLAND Hotel?
A: Although LEGOLAND is geared towards children, we can provide a unique, memorable experience for all types of groups.

Q: Are there group packages that include access to the Park?

Q: Can we have a birthday party at the LEGOLAND Hotel?

A:  Special events, including birthday parties may be considered at the LEGOLAND Hotel with 10 or more guest rooms committed. Q: Are there any special offers for Members?
A: All Merlin Annual Pass holders and Ambassador Members at LEGOLAND California Resort will receive 15% off bookings with a valid Membership ID card. Use promo/corporate code: MEM15 at time of booking. Restrictions may apply. Memberships must be valid at time of check-in to receive the discount.

Q: Can Members use the facilities of LEGOLAND California Resort Hotel?
A: Restaurants and lounges are open to Park Members excluding the pool and fitness areas, which are exclusive to hotel guests. These areas are subject to availability and may be limited during times of high attendance.
